3. The college is going to set a new office for the issue of off campus housing. The girl thinks it’s a good idea. The office could help the students who are not familiar with the surrounding of the school, especially for the new students. In addition, the office could help the students to deal with some issues such as the contract, deposits and the security.

4. The reading passage is talking about the the concept of the lateral thinking which means people could think from different ways to solve the problem. In the lecture the professor use an case of manager working in a hotel to be the example to give us more explanation. The manager receive manu complains from his customers about  the elevator. They have to spend too much time for waiting for the elevator and they are bored. The first idea from the manager is to improve the elevator which could make people spend less time on waiting. However, the price for the renovation is too expansive. So he use the second idea from his employees. It’s about to install a new television in the lobby and people could watch the TV when they are waiting for the elevator.

5. The girl’s laptop was broken and found out that the repair shop could fix it. She needed a computer to finish her paper. The first solution is she could rent a laptop from the repair shop. But she could save the money for her new computer. The second is she could share her roomate’s computer. But they could have some conflict on their schedule of using the computer. If I were she, I prefer to rent a laptop rather than to share with my roomate. I could have more time to focus on my work and the paper is much more important for me. Beside I don’t have to worry about how to arrange the schedule with my roomate. It’s convenient for me.

6. The lecture is talking about two disadvantages caused by the unsuitable irrigation. The first one is that the irrigation could make the land wet enough to grow something bad for the plants such as the fungal. For example the field of malon need much water but it could make the fungal spread. The second one is that the salt from the irrigation could be left behind on the land. In the short period of time the salt could not cause any problem but one day the concentration of slat in the land will be too high to grow some plants.

4. The concept of phy….which is talking about how the plants hosting on other plants to get plenty of sun light. To compensate with the lack of opportunity of reaching the ground, the plants develops the phy…..which could help form the bowl shape leaves to collect the water and the dead body of the bugs. The lecture use the dust planets to be the example.

5. The boy is going to have a concert performance in the auditory on campus on this weekend. However all the auditorium have be reserved. Wither can he choose the the weekdays for his performance or he could play the performance with other band. The auditorium which is available for the weekdays is a little smaller.

3. The article is talking about a new policy which ask students keep quiet after 10 PM every weeknight in the dormitory. The girl think it’s a good idea. She has to spend much time studying in the library because there are too many party in her dorm room. It’s too noisy for her to study there. The new policy could let her study in her room and she could go to bed early for the early morning class tomorrow. In addition, the new policy could improve the relationship between the roomates. There won’t be any argument because everyone need to fellow the rule.

4. The article is talking about the concept of the logic consequence which make the children behaved themselves. The professor use his experience to be the example. He taught the kid and let them paint the pictures. However, one of his students, Marry, paint on her desk rather than the paper. At the beginning he keep her play inside when other kids play outside the classroom. But it doesn’t work. So he told Mary if she paint the picture on her desk again she won’t have the paint to use. Then she realize the rule and the negative result she will get when she was against the rule.

5. Sue is going for a music concert on campus but she finds out her sister is going to visit her at the same time. Either does she give the tickets to her friends or she could buy her sister a ticket. IF I were her I will choose to give up the concert. I would like to have more time to chat with my sister. It’s too noisy in the concert and i could not have a talk with my sister in the concert. In addition, the price of ticket is way too expensive. I can’t afford it.

6. The lecture is talking about two types of mechanism to protect our body. The antimacro barriers and removal machnism. The antimaccro barriers are kind of physical barriers which block the virus or bacterias out of our body. The best example is our skin. Our skin is thick enough to prevent the bacterias getting into our body. Besides the skin will provide the early warning when our body get the infection. The second type is the removal machnism. The best example is the seenas.

3. The article is talking about a purpose for the school which allow the students to use cellular phone in the library. Students could speak in the low volum or whisper. In addition, we wouldn’t miss out the important call. However, the girl disagrees with this idea. She thinks that sometimes the person on the other side of the phone couldn’t hear the voice. It forces people to speak louder and make some noise to distract people. In addition, If students really wait for the important calls. They could check the message because people are willing to leave the message for the students. In addition, People could wait for their call outside the library.

4. The article is talking about the concept of the test customer which means the company would like to hire a customer to evaluate the the performance of the employee. In the lecture the professor uses the case of a manager in his hometown’s restaurant to give us more idea about the concept. The manager couldn’t get the real evaluation because the employee know he is watching and they could do their job more carefully. However, he hire a stranger to test his employee. Ask his employee some question about how the meal cook, how they serve the food and whether he is satisfied with his job. because the employee is not aware of this test the manager could get the real evaluation for the performance of his employee. The case just prove the concept of test customer work well.

5. The student is planning a trip with his friends for the french club. However, he could n’t afford the ticket for this trip. Either could he work the extra hours in the nect week to earn more money of he could sell his guitar to buy the ticket. If I were him I would like to sell the guitar. For my opinion, I know i am going to very busy for the preparation of my exam in the next. I should spend more on my test, not on the part-time job. The academic performance is way more important to me than the trip. In addition, I could buy the guitar back later.

6. The lecture is talking about two types of feathers on the water-bird which could help them get in the water for a short time, the counter forward and beanthe feather. The couter-forward feather fix tightly  and oily. The could protect the bird from the penetration of water. The beneath feather is soft and keep the bird warm.

3. The school is going to provide the lounge for the computer students. The girl agree with this propose. She think the students could spend more time in the lounge rather the staying the dormitory. Students could bre relaxed and socialize in the lonuge.

4. The agonistic behavior means the same animals would like to complete for the resource without harming the others. In the lecture the teacher use rattle snacks to be the example to give us more explanation about the concept.

5. Sally has free concert ticket for tonight but she is going to have a history exam tomorrow. Either she could go to the play and studey when she come back or she could go to the play on the mther day and buy the ticket by herself.

6. The leture is talking about how the salesperson use the two stratgies to distract the concerns from the customers and keep them buying things. The first one is to focus on the feature for their product. For example, in the electronic store the customers are concerning about how expensive the laptop is. The salesperson could explain the customers how fast the laptop could help them to finish their job. It’s worth the price.The second is that the salesperson could demostarate the product in front of the customers to release the customer’s concern.

The school cafeteria is going to have a music performance by the student as of the next month. the girl thinks it’s a good idea because it could provide more oppertunity for her or other students like her to do the performance. She could leran more things such as how to face the aduience or how to use the microphone. In addition, it also offers more chancec for the students to appreciate the music because it’s free. If the student want to listen the live music in the club. they have to pay 15 to 20 dollars for the fee.

4. The article is talking about the concept of opinion preservance which means people would like to hold on their beliefs even though the basis of the belief is not true or failse. In the lecture the professor use his own experience to give us more explanation. His mother always want him to put on the coat in the winter when he has to go outside because his mother told him it could get cold without the coat outside. However the true is the only way to get the cold is by touching the cold virus. He still put on the coat and tells his children do the same thing.

5. The girl would like to participate in the ski trip on the weekend but her cusin ask her to have dinner on the saterday night. Either she could ask her cursin to have the dinner earlier, on the friday night instead of the saterday night, or she could go for part of the trip. I will choose to have part of trip because i don’t want to offend my cursin and i think part of trip is good enough for me and I will be satisfied with that.

6.The lecture is talking about how the human activity affects the environmetn in a lake. The first theory is the building stuff by the human. For example the canon which could introduce the new fish. The new species of fish could eat the native fish and reduce the population of the native fish. The second is changing the temperature in the lake. For instance cuting down the trees surronding a lake could reduce the shade of the three. Without the shade the temp in the lake could increase and the chance the fish to get the air could reduce too.

3. The school would like to close the offcampus coffeehouse. Gilr disagree with this idea because the space in the offcampus coffeehouse is more spacious and quiet. The food is better because they have a nnew manager. Now not only do they provide the snnack but also more healither food.

4. The article is talking about the special species which could cause interst annd attention by people and raise the awareness of protection for them. In the lecture the professor use a bird to be an example.

5. The girl moving in her new apartment found out that there is no internect service in her apartment. Either could she pay the internet fee by herself monthly or she could use the free internet service in the campus.

6. Two types of narrator descrption in the by the writers. The spaculator narrator and on-mission narrator. The spaculator could give the descrption for what the characters did and said in their trip or experience. The on-mission narrtor could give more detail descrption of what the characters thinks and feels.

3. The e-mail is talking about the requirement for the students who tak ethe course to figure out two discussion questions and send them to the professor the day before the class. The students think it’s a good idea. The requirement could improve the quality of the course because people could have more discussion in the class. In addition, the questions could inspire students to think which part of the class interest them the most. They could find out for the topic of their finial paper.

4. The concept of the evolution in act which means plants or animals could envolve quickly to response to the sudden chance in the enviroment, usually in the period of hundreds of years. In the lecture professor use the relations between lomer and grass to explain to us more about the concept. The grass could grow straught from the ground. However, someone invent the powerful lomer to cut the grass down. The grass develop to grow in the side way to avoid the blade of lomer.

5. The student counsal is going to held a party tomorrow but they find out that the leading singer is sick. Either they could play the recorded music or postpone thge party for the recovery of singer. I would like to play the recorded music because I want to spend more time on my study. It’s very dangerous for me to have a party just a day before the exam. Even though the recorded music is not exciting as the live music. I believe people still could have some fun in the recorded music.

6. The lecture is talking about how the consumers judge the quality of product. They will judge the quality by two factors, inrtansic cues and extransic cues. The intrinsic cues mean the physical characteristic of a product such as size, color or flavor. For exaple the food compant could give the free sample of a juice to the consumers. If the consumers like the flavor, they will think the quality of juice is good. The extransic cues is the additional characteristic. For example if the juice is packed in a expensive battle, the consumers could think the quality of juice is good too.

It’s a book about the philopher and scientist who discovered some knowledge and used their discoervies to make people life better. I like this book because it teaches me a lot of things. It teaches me never give up when yopu are facing challenge or difficulty.

1. What is your favorite academic subject when you are in the primary school. I believe math is my favorite subject when i was studying in the elementary school. First of all, my math teacher is very interesting and funny. He could use special designated methods and programs to teach us and let us understand the math quickly and easily. So i don’t have the difficulty in learning the math. In addition, when i was studying the math my parents always tutored me all the time. I really have some good memory with them when they teached me the math.

2. Would li,e to study in a small class or big class.

I prefer to study in a small class. First I think I could be distracted by other students in a big class. I mean sometimes other students fon’t want to focus on the study and make some noise such as chattering in the classroom. It will be very annoyed for me. In addition, I believe I caould have more attention form the teacher when I was in a small class. I could have more interaction with the teacher. The more interaction I could have from the teacher, the more thinks and knowledge I couyld learn in the class.

3. A propose is about building some wildness club for students. The club could hire the bus for students for a trip by using its funds. The trip could help students relaxed and take a breaak in the nature. The students in the conversation agrees with this idea. There is some beautiful scenes out of the town and the campus is in the center of the town. There is no way for students go to these scenes without cars. In addition, taking a break in nature could help help students be ready for the book in the school.It support the positive which is mentioned in the propose.

4. The concept about the brood parasite. Brood parasite could take advantages from other animals to hatch their eggs by mixing up with other animal’s eggs. In the lecture the professor use catfish and cliclique to be the example to give us more explanation for this concept. The cliclique would like to protect their eggs by holding their eggs in their mouth. The catfish would lay the eggs just after tyhe cliclique lay theirs and mix up them together. In this way the cliclique could protect he catfish’s eggs as the same time.

5. Tad would like to invite a great speaker in the campus. Even though the topic of speach is interesting, How the phylohpy realted to the life, he is afraid that there will not be too many students get interested in this topic. In this case either could he use the medium like e-mail announcement to notify other students or he could assk the speaker change his topic to focus on some students majored in phyolophy.

6.The professor is talking about how the human to keep their temp stable. There are two factors affecting the regulation. First the physical factor. For example, our muscle could shake when we are in the cold whether. Because of the mavement of the muscle, it produce the heat to keep us warm. The second one is the behavior regulation, For example, we could put on the coat when we feel cold or we will get out of sunshine when we feel hot.
